QTC Senior Club Championship

Saturday 21st May

The remaining matches of the singles and the full doubles events were successfully concluded on Sat 21st April. Congratulations to Suma Ito Sheehan who took our both the ladies singles and doubles (with Hannah Speight). Congrats also to Miki Nobuzawa who was men's singles champion and to Mark Milburn and Jason Thorburn who won the men's doubles. Full results of finals below (seedings in brackets)

Mens singles final:  Miki Nobuzawa (1) beat Kerry Smith (2):  6-0 0-6 6-2

Mens doubles final:  Mark Milburn/Jason Thorburn (1) beat Kerry Smith/Ryan Keen (2):  6-4 6-3

Ladies singles final:  Suma Ito Sheehan (1) beat Hannah Speight (2):  6-2 6-1

Ladies doubles final: Suma Ito Sheehan/Hannah Speight (1) beat Annie Gallaway/Teresa Chapman (2):  6-2 6-0

The 2011-12 Twilight Competition

Saturday 31st March

The Finals series of the 11-12 Twilight Competition was played in perfect conditions on Saturday 31st March. There was some great tennis and some really close matches. Results for both grades are shown below.

Premier Grade Semi-Finals

Mountain Wine (Graeme Smith & Katrina Priest) beat Networkers (Paul Weaver & Annie Gallaway):  6-3 6-0

OMG WTF (James Penwell & Sarah Patterson) beat Oxnevads (Tony and Felicity Oxnevad):  7-5 0-6 12-10
